The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Needs some engine help, but runs. The vintage soft top looks good.

Looks solid. Seller lists the engine as an L-head when it is really an f-head.

(09/11/2014) Looks like this has a government plate on the dash, but I can’t make it out. It’s a project. Has a Meyer hardtop.
“Marked Waaay down! Found something I really want, and need to free up some room and cash.
Very Cool, and Very Rare, especially with the hardtop!
This is one of the nicer CJ6s I have seen, and the last one of 4 that I am selling in order to start my business. I drove out to Missouri to get this one, and the body and frame are very good condition. Sitting just as I found it, on unfinished springover CJ7 Dana 30 and AMC 20 narrowtrack axles, and with a small block Chevy trans and transfer case partially installed (I was told it ran, but I never touched it; it is missing a carb at the very least) I was going to remove all of the drivetrain and install my own engine, trans, t-case and axles out of one of my Scramblers. Wheels and tires in the pix don’t come with, and it will be sold with a set of rollers. Selling off my Jeep projects and parts.”
Has a dent, but still may be worth a look. Includes winch.
“I bought this planning on making a Rock crawler project. My plans of changed. It is a very very good shape for a 1967 CJ-6. CJ-6 is very rare. Floorboards are in good shape. A couple small rust spots on the front cab. It has a best top soft top on it. The windows are good on it but the vinyl has some checking. Full-size bias ply tires. Gas can/spare tire carrier on the back. Rear tailgate great shape. Not the original seats. It runs I just put a new carburetor on it that needs adjustment. It has manual locking hubs. It also has a Warn 8274 winch on it already.”
“I have two project jeeps. 1967 commando half cab, no tranz or t case. It has the v6 in it still but it does not run. The other is a 1960 cj6, 4cyl engine that is stuck. Rear body is rusty. I have titles for both. Both would make great rock crawlers. They are a little rough for restoration projects imo. 1000.00 each. No texts, calls only”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay. Has a Meyer hardtop.
(09/22/2015) Blaine spotted this one.
“This 1965 Jeep CJ-6A Tuxedo Park Mark IV is extremely rare – only 140, or so, of these were built in 1965, with only about 460 CJ-6A “Tux’s” ever being built during the Tuxedo Park’s nine year run. This makes it one of the rarest production Jeeps out there.
The body and frame are extremely rusted and pretty much trashed…unless you are extremely talented and patient with metal work. However, the title, VIN, special parts, etc. make it a prime candidate if you are looking to restore a CJ-6 of this vintage using a donor vehicle. A restored Tuxedo Park can be worth over double a standard restored CJ-6. Why spend your money on a basic restore when you can do it as a Tuxedo Park?! Continue reading →
“I have a 72 Jeep CJ 6 for sale. Runs drives, 4×4 works. Will post pictures later. As you all know these Jeeps hold their value. When is the last time you saw a CJ6?? Have you ever? Same thing as a Cj5 except it is 20 inches longer. 258 CID manual tranny. Son in law off work for 4 months due to operation. Have to get rid of some of the toys. No text.”

“I have a 1965 CJ6. It’s got rust. I was going to fix it up, but just don’t have the time. I have the front axle off at the moment. Previous owner put in new Bestop front bucket seats and rear bench seat. I bought brand new tie rods/ends, brand new Warn premium 6 bolt locking hubs, & new Procomp 2 1/2″ suspension lift (springs, greaseable shackles, and shocks & U bolts). All new parts still in the box. The jeep has Dana 44 rear, Dana 27 front with 4.28 ratio. I’m selling it all together. Jeep, new parts, and clear Texas title. $2,000 OBO.”
