This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This might make a good restoration project if the seller’s description is accurate.

The body tub is in excellent shape, frame is perfect, and all parts are with it. All data plates are origanal and still on mounting plate. The windshield arms are oddly bent. The body looks solid. The Jeep is not complete.
Used as a presentation piece. No Engine or Drive Lines. Has Transmission, Transfer Case and New Tires. New Paint in 2005. Vehicle kept inside”

“1960 Willys Jeep CJ5 in good running condition – old school build up; Buick 225 V6 with low torque Offenhauser Dual Port 360 intake manifold; 12 volt system; Warner T-98 4 speed transmission, 6.40:1 first gear, similar to a T-18; Husky 2 speed overdrive; Spicer model 18 twin stick transfer case; PTO attachment; Koenig PTO winch, (not hooked up but drive shaft included); Folding two piece front windshield with tilting glass; Rare original front bench seat; Original rear seat; Kayline soft top; Body very solid with very little rust, storage box is solid; Frame repaired at rear right side spring mount welded and plated;”
It’s solid enough to go down a hill. Can’t tell much more from the pic.

“1943 Willys – Currently registered and street legal in CA. Smog exempt. 4.3 liter V6 Chevy engine. TH 350 Transmission. Triple Toyota transfer cases (4.7 front, 3.8 middle & 2.8 rear). Dana 44 in the front, open, chrome molly axle shafts, ctm u-joints. Dana 60 in the rear with spool, 410 front & rear. Hummer H1 12 bolt bead locks on Good Year military radial tires. Crawls like you’ve never seen before. A MUST see/drive in person vehicle. Willing to talk about a trade. Let me know what you have to offer. Serious buyers only.”

(07/22/2010) There’s a bit of a hole in the hood, but otherwise looks pretty good.
“1946 Willy’s CJ2A $5,000.00. **F-head 4 cylinder motor (not the original flat head) **Solid Rhino Lined floors, **1″ body lift, **New 29″ military tires, **New gas tank. This Jeep runs well and can be driven as is. It needs some work to be completely reliable or can be restored. The frame is solid and the floors are new. The body is usable, but showing its age. Some of the wiring is new, the starter is rebuilt, as well as the head. It has a new carburetor, new spark plugs, coil, cap, rotor, and a new battery.”
