This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Of all the things I’ve seen done to a jeep, I can’t say I have ever seen a jeep dressed with astroturf (or carpet of any kind). For the record, this is an All Wheel Drive Russian Niva. See all the pics on here:

This has a fiberglass body and a variety of updates.
“- Body off restoration 1946 Willys Jeep – 600km since restoration – Fiberglass body – Dana 44’s on 33 inch wheels. Too many features to list. Please contact for details and be sure to view attached photos. Please note: I am willing to trade for a Harley Davidson.”
I’m not sure how rare these are in Canada, but I suspect they are as rare there as they are in the U.S.

UPDATE: Status Unknown. This looks solid.
“1953 M38 Willys Jeep 4X4, completely restored, Buick V6, custom cooling, custom exhaust, power steering, power brakes, 14” clutch, T90 transmission, ALL new brakes and bearings, heater, new upholstery, new black soft top, new stainless gas tank, new tires, AIR CARED and more in excellent condition A MUST SEE $12,500.”
The rear driver’s corner sure looks awfully square. It has some classic metal rims.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2100. Has a Kelly hardtop.
I’m not sure how many CJ-6s there are in Canada, so this might be a pretty rare vehicle.
“1964 Willys CJ6 has swapped in 302 engine. It’s complete but needs work, not drivable.
Fors 302 with T90 transmission and Dana 18 transfer-case with warn overdrive. Has old metal hard top and doors. Front bench seat no rear seats. Includes spare CJ6 frame with diffs and a F-head engine also have another complete F head. This jeep has valid BC registration.”
This looks like a good price on a solid CJ-2A.

The seller claims the body condition is good.
“ok i have an old willys jeep in nice condition. does not currently run but its a great project jeep. very nice for the price. The body tub is in great condition no heavy rusting and overall is like i said nice. ”

This has a fiberglass body and front clip that appears in good shape.
“1946 Cj2a willys jeep. Runs very good, motor has been freshly rebuilt. it has a fiberglass body, hood, and fenders, so no more rust…It will need seats.. Also has new exhaust.. frame is in great shape.”
