Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1961 Willys chassis with a fiberglass CJ tub. 80″ wheelbase, tilt hood. Muncie 4-speed, 2 stick transfercase with Warn overdrive. Enclosed knuckle front diff., floating axle rear with locking hubs on all 4 corners. Ready for the engine of your choice. (03/08/2015) Runs, but doesn’t drive.
“We have a pretty good condition Willys Flat Fender. It already has been converted to a Chevy V-8. It has a 1956 Corvette engine in it that sounds good. You can hear it run but it does not drive. It does need a full restoration. I will part out if someone just wants the jeep or just the engine.”

“Up for sale today are 3 1940’s vintage willy jeep cj2as. Two are complete, one is taken apart, but is all there. The green one runs and drives probably needs a tune up, gas tank has been lined and fuel system flushed has tow bar used behind motor home very good body, frame excellent. Red one; clutch is bad other than that it is good, body solid some rust frame excellent. Third one is in pieces and we have all of the parts solid drive train, frame. All go devil four cylinder engines. Thanks for your interest. I believe we have at least one title.”
