This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I’ve got an East Coast buyer looking for a mechanically sound M-38 or early M-38a1 that looks good. The body doesn’t have to be museum quality (there can be some minor dents for example), but it should look like a military vehicle. The price range is $8000 – $11000. If you know of any sellers, send them my way.

“1942 Slat Grill Willys data tag dated 02-25-42 Slat grill indicating one of 25,000ish of which 200 know to surive this one needs restored most all the parts there and work no seats no wheels engine number is correct MB# and frame and date tag numbers match runs good drives good 4 wheel works hi and low is working Cutlas Lockout hubs on front working no wiring and the body is rough have title and licence plate”

(02/06/2010) This Jeep is apart.
“For sale is a 1951 Willys CJ3A. The jeep ran when i bought it but thought i wanted to do a full restore and started taking it apart. The Jeep comes with 2 engines( 1 rebuilt and still on the engine stand), 2 T-90 transmissions, 3 hoods, windshield with glass. Jeep also has front PTO and Ramsey winch from a 1948 Willys CJ2A. Everything is there to put Jeep back together or to continue restoration. I am selling my house and relocating for a job, and cant take the Jeep with me. The frame and body are in great shape and would be a great project for someone with a little time. I also have a 1958 Ford F-100 for sale on Craigslist. I knew there were aluminum bodies for flatties, but I discovered today that Aqualu manufactures a wide range of aluminum bodies, including a flattie, CJ-5, CJ-6 and more. Check out all the different bodies at their website.

“I have a 1948 CJ-2a willys jeep for sale that is in restorable shape. The engine is currently out of the vehicle but is in rebuildable condition.
