“For sale 1949 Willys
Jeep is in real good shape has a new rebuilt motor new battery new fuel pump and fan belt, tires are 90 percent body has very little rust for its age, four wheel drive works fine,it has locking hubs and runs great. Also has a 5 ton wench with remote
Jeep needs brake work and has a seal at the back of the transmission that leaks, it would be a easy fix. The seats need to be recovered , and a speedometer cable.
I bought the jeep from a friend to fix up but never got around to it , so I’m going to sell and buy a UTV.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1600.
(08/03/2014) Has an early CJ-2A Grille and a MB/GPW windshield.
“Selling a 1949 Willys Jeep CJ2a. Not running. Title says 1950. My understanding is that 1949 was the last year. It ran before it was stored inside a dry garage. The fenders, hood, body, and trim have all been removed. Included are a couple boxes with all the parts. The windshield glass is cracked. The body appears to have had previous body work done. The floor boards are rusted. Needs restoration. Open to any reasonable offer.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
(06/25/2014) Looks solid.
“1952 Willys CJ3A Jeep. Mostly original except for the seats and suspension. Runs good, and drives good. Needs a new water pump before it can be driven any distance though. Original L-head 4-cyl flat head. Very solid, only minor rust on the body. Will sell with either the orig wheels or a set of 31″ tires, your choice. Has a 4-inch suspension lift that is still practically new. Asking $3700. Just about the only thing I would trade for is a M35A2. Clear IL tile in my name. I do not have to sell and I am not hurting for money,so don`t bother trying to lowball me.”
Marc spotted this classic photo of Ben Carlin’s Half-Safe GPA.
“This is an original press photo. of AustrailiaPhoto measures 9 x 7.25inches.”
I can’t say I’ve ever heard this song.
“SLEEP, BABY, SLEEP (IN YOUR JEEP)
Lyric by Al Dubin, music by James V. Monaco
from ‘STAGE DOOR CANTEEN’, 1943”
The photo of a Ford GP is one of several photos from Camp Croft, South Carolina.

Nice looking jeep.

Estimated horsepower is 360. It was a sand dune racer from southern California. Would make a bad ass ice racer here in Colorado. Comes with 3 tops, a cover and a bunch of extra pieces/parts.
