Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This includes an overdrive. It needs engine work. This has an odd rollcage.

The pictures don’t suggest a “super straight” body, rather they suggest to me some dents and rust.

(03/15/2012) This looks in good shape. It is a pretty early CJ-3A.
“Good condition. New floor pans. All original, including 6 volt charging system. New battery. Runs well. Does not burn oil. Tires need replacing. Soft top and doors, but no rear side panels. Odometer says 1851, but I don’t think it is correct; I have no idea of real miles.”
