Listed as a 1948 and described as a CJ-2A, this seems closer to a CJ-3A.

“I have an old Willys flat fender jeep available for sale. This is not a true military jeep, just a CJ2A it was done up to look like one. It does run and drive but it will need a throw out bearing and new brakes. I purchased it from an estate, the gentleman who built this put a lot of time and love into it. “Hazzard Fabworx of Spokane has reworked the suspension, power steering, changed out all the fluids, battery, serviced the diffs/transmission/transfer case/overdrive, swapped in disc brakes all around (‘94 Geo Tracker) and installed lap seat belts. It has an “odd fire” V6 motor, Dana 30 front/Dana 44 rear both with 4.27 gears, T90 3-speed transmission, Dana 18 transfer case and a Warn overdrive. I will say the original overdrive was a Warn but the owner before me had it rebuilt by Herm The Overdrive Guy in Washington, so it’s physically a Husky case now. It also has a Warn 4500 lb winch mounted on the front. The odometer reads 30k and change. The thing still runs and drives great. It doesn’t burn oil and still has the original VIN plate. The story I got when I bought it was that it was a forestry service jeep in Oregon, hence the decals”

This project may be a good price.

“I have owned this for three years, and basically the only time I touched it is to move it from the garage to the shed. I am selling it to buy a first motorcycle, so if you have any trades, feel free to shoot me an offer. The engine, transmission, and transfer case are out of it, but I have them all. The engine was supposed to have been gone through by the previous owner, but I have never cracked it open to check. The body is mostly straight, except for the sizeable dent in the rear left corner, and a small rust spot on the passenger side. $1500 o.b.o. Text or call with any questions. I would like it gone by Wednesday, but it’s not the end of the world if it isn’t.”
