Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. There’s some mixed and matched parts here. I believe that’s a CJ-3B windshield. I’m not entirely sure what the body is.

This looks in excellent shape.
“Clean, original Jeep. Rebuilt transmission, transfer case, 11″ brakes, new full top. Rare factory bench seat, seat belts and overdrive. Runs great. Only (7) 1965’s known to exist in the U.S”
The year and model are wrong on the Ad. This might be a pretty decent deal if the rust description is accurate.
“i have for sale a 1951 jeep willys cj2a. it has the factory 4 cylinder motor that has been rebuilt about 2 years ago. it is a 3 speed transmission with a twin stick transfercase. runs and drives great. needs a clutch rod in it now, but thats it ! everything else is in great shape. very little rust. i have a set of 15×10 bullet hole wheels to go with it but they are not pictured. asking 2200.00 obo call (706)-676-4620 if no answer leave a message.”

“1954 Willys. rebuilt flat head4 withh all factory kaiser parts. New Springs and runs perfect. Added some things to suit my hunting needs as you can see. Receiver hitches on front and rear. It is currently at my ranch in bandera, but will be bringing it to houston in two weeks.”

“4.88 gears, Lockers front and back, 6 pt roll cage, V6, 4-speed, brand new 33 inch swampers. $4,500 or trade for ATV, Motorcycle or ???”

The front looks pretty good. No pics of the sides or rear.
“I have a 1953 Willys with a 327 Chevy V-8, 5/38 gears, three speed with overdrive manual trans. ALL ORIGINAL METAL. This was my dad’s for 40 years, now I must sell immediately! Rough shape, needs restored, but when she runs, she’ll get you where you need to go, and then some.”

This CJ-3B has changed colors. It is now green? It’s been painted in the last 6 days! Old color on the right. New color on the left. The seats have been recovered too? Or, this is just a different jeep being sold by the same seller at the same price? Interesting ….

“Pretty cool old CJ3b with restored western snow plow. New hydraulics installed for plow. new AT tires, original ’60s mag wheels. Plows great. Starts and runs easy, but smokes like a chimney. Original motor with many years and miles with spare short block ready to rebuild. New paint about two years old. We’ve sold our place in the mountains, so I have no need for this cool toy any more. I am willing to trade this antique Jeep with plow for a Harley Davidson street glide, or police model electra glide or similar HD motorcycle.”

“1954 Willys Jeep, CJ3b. Has a roll bar and a tow bar. In good shape. It’s been sitting so it needs a new battery, seals for the carburator and brake lines. Had a baby, husband wouldn’t let me put a baby seat in it. :)”
