This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “For sale is a very nice original Willys Overland M38A1 Army Jeep. Jeep runs and drives Has original 4 cylinder 24 volt engine and 3 speed manual transmission. Only damage is on right front fender which was damaged when I got it over 10 years ago. I have a clean PA title in my name”
This M-38 looks a little rough; not sure how much value is here.. The auction is Saturday September 26 in Sanford, NC.

“1952 M38A1 restored jeep for sale. Engine, transmissions, and differentials rebuilt. Military signal lights, Military aluminum top with hot water heater. No rust, frame, body, and top painted air force blue. 24 volt electrical system,
pictures available $19000 OBO.”
This is supposed to be a no-rust body, but the passenger side floor appears double patched? Note the seem near the back of the floor and the plate on the angled portion of the floor. Maybe I’m just confused.

(12/19/2019) Various M-38A1 parts, include an M-38A1C body.
“I have 13 Willys M38-A1 Military Jeep frames and tubs from the 1950’s. They have been in a wooded field since the 1970’s so they are weathered and some are rusted. Some have fenders, leaf springs, steering wheels, etc and some don’t. No motors or transmissions but I do have various parts (see pics). I have 1 hood left, 1 window frame, multiple axles and other parts. Asking $500 per Jeep or potentially less depending on condition.”
