This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Side note: This jeep is a certified chick magnet and a real head turner. It drinks American fuel and in return has an exhaust smell that screams ‘MERICA. The price may be high but it’s certainly worth every dollar.”

“I started a project that i dont have the time to finish. its a 52 willys p/u 4×4 with original running gear. 6v system has been rewired. starts first try-runs well. f-head 4cyl. Good candidate for restoration. some rust at base of cab but floor intact.clean california title. Needs tires as they are not original. I have 2 rims & tires,need 2 more and spare tire w/mount”

“1948 Willys 1-Ton Truck. This is a real nice Willys Truck. It starts and runs fine. Engine sounds good. It is real eye candy to people that know old Willys and trucks. I purchased 15 months ago and have only replaced some fuel and radiator hose. Prior work done by previous owner. No service records available. I understand the engine is not original but is the military L-head (?). See picture.
Don’t know the quality of the body work repairs over time, but it looks nice. Bed steel is solid with welded steel slats (to replace rusted areas). There is evidence of rust under cab and rocker panels that has been repaired. There is no visible rust. Continue reading

Appears solid, but the hood obviously needs some paint.
“Great the way it sits or would even make a good Rat Rod! This 2 wheel drive street rod has a 350 motor and automatic trans. Hood will need a paint job, but it has its own character.”

Looks like a nice 2WD truck.
“Truck I bought last year in great shape . It needed brakes and tires which are now new . Also brand new glass and window rubber.
Truck is a rare model with 2wd and factory overdrive . Still has willys logo rubber mat on floor. No holes in truck bed or anywhere . Was in storage for 25 years. It runs but needs some fine tuning . I have several projects and need to slow down due to health.no trades cash only!!!”
