“61 Willys PU , All original 1 owner . Straight 6 Super Hurricane motor 3 speed , rusty but not bad for its age , frame is solid and and light surface rust only. The worst part is the bed , but it is set up as a dump body , I redid all the brakes completely.It has all chrome body trims.original dash with all gages.original bench seat. It is a perfect restore or keep it the way it is with the patina. It dose run , ha e not driven it though .Over $1000 in brake parts only serious people please don’t waste our time please,”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $8000.
(12/10/2023) This is an interesting build, but the pics don’t show all the aspects. It’s possibly now a convertible (or just soft top) and has a tower blind attached to the bed.

“Old backroad truck . 4×4 three speed with overdrive. Not a hot rod or show truck. In-line 6 ford truck engine. Converted to 12 volts. All instruments work. Heater and defrost work. New tires less than 20 miles. New side post battery. Converted to alternator. All lights work. Steering is hard, brakes stop but need room. Diamond plate steel front and rear bumpers. New carb, fuel pressure regulator and gauge. Electric fuel pump and filter. New aluminum radiator and electric wipers.if it’s posted, it is still available. Will not respond to is it still available. UPDATE: I found what I believe is another Israel Kaiser brochure which highlights the Compact Tender design. This truck looks more like a modified wagon than a truck. The bed does not appear independent of the cab.

Original Published Dec 05, 2010: Congrats to Or who spotted some information from a “Kaizer-Ilin Industrys Ltd” marketing document at the Israel Cars forum. He and I have both searched for any official piece of evidence that the vehicles we were seeing were really produced and this represents the first step in that process. We still don’t know how many were produced, nor how many years they were produced, nor in how many countries they were produced (though they have appeared in both Israel and the US).
The document below is from 1963. Or translates it the following way:
1. Tender Willys
2. “Station Car”
3. Compact Tender
4. c’hamp 1963
Moreover, Or spoke with some of the folks at the Israel Cars forum and discovered that the Compact Tender is built on the Panel/Wagon frame (104.5″ wheelbase) rather than the long pickup frame (118″ wheelbase).
