These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1948 Willys Flat Bed Truck……These Willys are getting more and more rare and this one is in pretty good shape. Motor is an Automatic, Chevy 350 C.U., which fires over very easily with a ton of power. 9 Bolt Ford Rear End. 12 volt system. Lights all work. Jeep has old style pickup wood rails on bed. Windows work good. Doors close tight and solid.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7300.
Looks solid, but leaves some dribbles on the ground.
“For sale, 1954 Willys pickup. Mileage is in the mid-60’s. Truck is in fair condition; glass is good, runs and drives well, very little rust. New starter, rebuilt carburetor and new fuel pump. Converted to 12-volt. Has several leaky seals and gaskets. Old, military style tires but they still hold air. 226 Super Hurricane engine, 3-speed with high-low range and Koenig PTO winch.”

“1946 Willy Jeep – sales price is firm for jeep as is. The Jeep’s engine has been rebuilt (2015) – but the vehicle has not been used for roughly 7 months, thus the engine needs some work to get it running again – but is in great shape and won’t be a project. The body is patina with some minor rust – but no structural problems. Its been used for business purposes but we have decided to move on to a modern truck. Interior is in excellent shape. I will get VIN and odometer on Craigslist shortly – we do have clean title.”

This ran-when-parked truck has been sitting 14 years.The first pic on Craigslist is of a different truck than the one for sale.
“Low mileage 1959 Willy pickup 1 ton . Model L6-226 with 6 cylinder hurricane motor. Car is from California and purchased from 49er chevrolet. The car is all original and has a straight body. Comes with the original owners manual. This car has been parked in my garage for 14 years and when parked it ran. Note first picture is not of actual vehicle but real close. all other pictures are from the car for sale Car is in non operational condition. Needs new battery and fuel lines cleaned out. It will need to be towed to your destination. With a little work the car will run great.”

(10/02/2017) Dan spotted this late model truck, manufactured not too long before the switch to the Gladiator.
“Im selling my 1963 Willys pickup because I’ve moved and no longer have room for it. I found it sitting next to someones garage it had been there for a while. My son drove it for the next 6 months it had no problems. We then would drive it around occasionally, We moved to a house with a smaller garage and no longer have room for it. The previous owners had a ton of work done to it, its mostly original its just missing the factory bumpers and I believe it has A aftermarket bed.”

“The tranny and motor work great as well as the 4 wheel drive, some parts are off of a 53 willies but I have all of the parts that were switched out still. Also comes with tons of extra parts. Has a rambler 6 under the hood but I have the super hurricane motor and it goes with the truck as well. Only selling to buy a home.”
