This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. There’s enough here that for the right person this might be a worth a look. What little we can see of the CJ-2A chassis suggests at least some of it might be restored.

(10/02/2023) The seller indicates this was built on a “1964 CJ-7 frame”, which must be a misprint because CJ-7s weren’t introduced until 1976.

Tom shared this CJ-2A chassis with a replacement body kit. It includes a rear PTO and gearbox.

I think the body has been patched a bit, but it still may be a good price. The body edge appears to thin around the driver entrance and the drain hole isn’t evident.
