Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8000.
“Bought this Willys over the summer and have used it as a weekend cruiser. Great little truck, engine and transmission are strong, small leak from front Diff and radiator.
Apart from those two problems it starts every time and hasn’t let me down yet. The front seats are perfect, new gas tank, and there is a back seat though it needs to be re-covered. If you are looking for a quick response send me a text, I also check email regularly.
Now is a great chance to own a piece of American history, at a very fair price for a nearly no rust, great running, driver quality Willys Jeep.’
Engine is seized, but it looks good otherwise. It’s been in storage since 1982. It’s listed as a 1949. Is that a stainless or brushed aluminum windshield frame?
