New oil change new oil and air filter new spark plugs new battery new gasket for oil pan and new headlights and front marker lights plenty more. Starts on first turn of the key and drives and shifts very nice. Hard top and doors are in good condition as well.”

“I HAVE THIS 1948 WILLY’S JEEP PROJECT UP FOR SALE. I JUST DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO DO IT JUSTICE. HAS ALREADY BEEN CONVERTED TO A BUICK V6, ORIGINAL 3 SPEED TRANNY AND TRANSFER CASE. ORIGINAL AXLES. HAS SKINNY MILITARY STYLE TIRES WITH 90% TREAD. HAS DUEL FUEL TANKS. NEW IN THE BOX TURN SIGNAL SWITCH, HEADLIGHT SWITCH, AND L E D TAILLIGHTS. NEW WINDSHIELDS. THE WIRING HARNESS IN THE PICS IS OUT OF A 1986 DODGE RAMCHARGER, WAS GOING TO MODIFY IT FOR THE HEAD AND TAIL LIGHTS. HAVE NEVER HAD IT FULLY RUNNING. HAVE PUT FUEL IN CARB AND HAD IT SPUTTERING. Fairly rough condition but not many of these laying around AZ…
Has keys, clear & notarized title, will deliver for a fee…
This Willy’s Jeep is 70 years old…Yes it has rust…No it doesn’t run…

Based on the dash plaques, this has been a well-loved jeep.
“Jeep cj2a.. Dana 30 (lock right) front ,dana44 (detroit locker) full floater rear, 5:38 gear ratio, T-18 transmission, model 20 twin stick transfer case. 225 odd fire v6. full cage. 35 inch goodyear tires on beadlocks. dents everywhere. I’ve had the jeep for 20 years. used as trail rig. Reg. non op.”

There are some cosmetic updates like the bumper, grille, and side handle.

Might be worth a closer look given its stockiness. It does have some rust.
“This is a great little 1947 CJ2A. It was parked or rather moth-balled by the former owner in 1992 in his tractor shed. This is in great condition and runs just as smooth as silk. It is quiet and there is no smoke or missing. The gears shift just fine and the four wheel drive works just fine. The original gas tank is just fine and holding gas. It was drained when we got it. We have not gotten it up to road speed because there are no brakes. They will need to be bled or worked on. Of course they have lost their prime after sitting for so long. The top is a Bestop and is in very nice condition…just dusty. Even the little aftermarket electric wiper is working. This has a heater on the passenger side but we have not tinkered with it.
Note the exhaust pipes out the rear of the body. No description provided.
