Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The paint job on this is unusual. The cammo even extends across the headlights. But the inside of this looks quite nice. The jeep may be in good shape.

This sure looks like a good price. I wonder why is wrong with it . . . Maybe the price is a misprint?
“Original engine runs very good. Vehicle has been restored. Has newly upholstered front and rear seats, has roll bars, 31 x10 tires, chrome rims (used). Installed radio, interior lights, carpeting, exterior clearance lights all the way around, large tail and brake lights. There is a brand new BESTOP, doors need slight modification to fit. “This a 1968 Jeep six wheel /Backhoe very rare and super heavy duty
the floors are rusting and will need work the rest of the jeep has its
spots but where it counts under neath it has surface rust but the truck
is amazing and runs great the Backhoe works and digs great the jeep also has
down riggers that lift the back end up of the ground and the front has a Dozzer/
backfill blade mounted with a shoulder mount
The Jeep is located in Biddeford Maine and very close to I95
storage is not a problem and will provide any help needed

1946 Jeep CJ-2a Complete but body rusted. Will need replacement body (still available from Willys in Toledo) Bill of sale only, no title. $1000 obo
1968 Jeep CJ-5 Decent body and good frame. No motor. Comes with factory hardtop and some spares. Clean title. $1000 obo
1971 Jeep CJ-5 Body beat up but frame in great shape. Has Dauntless 226 V6 in it. Runs and moves under its own power. Would be good to pick up along with the 68 to make a complete CJ-5 plus spares. Clean title. $1200 obo
1978 Jeep CJ-7 Body rusty. 304 V8 auto trans. Tilt Steering. Hard top and doors. I installed a new water pump and a new front seal. Runs and moves. Clean title. $1300 obo
1981 Jeep CJ-8 Body rusty. I-6 motor, manual trans. Half hardtop, no doors. Tilt steering. These are getting tough to find these days. Clean title $1500 obo
I also have a clean CJ-7 frame, a couple of wide-track axles and some spare sheet metal available seperately to help out with these projects.

“I was asking for 4 thousend (what I paid for it without the parts I bought) but give me a fair offer, I even just dropped it to $3,000. I don’t want to sell her but I need the money ASAP! The quicker offer may beat the better offer. Its a 58 Willys frame with 70’s Chevy truck parts with a small block V8.
