” Willys L-head four cylinder engine was removed from a Willys Jeep CJ3A. This will also fit in the CJ2A, M38, WWII MB and GPW, and some early Willys Wagons and Trucks. This one has been in dry storage for about a decade. It used to turn over years ago while it was in the shed, but I can’t seem to get it to turn over at the moment, and I don’t want to force it. R
emoving the head, I see what looks to be normal wear to the cylinder bores with a slight ridge on the top, and the pistons are currently at 0.040 over, meaning that it can still be machined out to 0.060 when rebuilt. It has a Jasper Factory remanufactured engine tag on the side of it, so it had received a rebuild at some time in the past. No signs of cracks or damage on the block, but I do see that the exhaust manifold does have a large crack. The intake looks to be in good condition. Will include everything shown, plus I may also have a working starter and an untested generator to include with it as well. Please let me know if you have any questions.”
