Most Mil Vees are Army surplus, but Air Force vehicles are very rare.

This is a nonrunning 53000 mile, Air Force M38A1 with $2600 Warn / Atlas Overdrive,
making 12 forward gears and 4 reverse gears
Novak adaptor kit allows install of Ford ranger 120hp engine.
Warn front hubs for no front end running parts, while in 2WD mode.
This jeep is really straight with a few small rust spots, easy to repair.
Needs an owner with more time to devote to such a good rare jeep.”

The clutch is stuck, and it has not been on the road since 1991. The orignal data plates are on the dash, although they were painted over. The DOD date is Oct-54. It has 90% of the components and all of the major items. It was last inspected and driven on the roads of Pennsylvania in 1991. Although it does not currently run, the F-head engine does turn over and both the T-90 transmission and transfer case levers move. This jeep has a clear Pennsylvania title.  Continue reading →

“Military jeep has been sitting untouched for 8 years. I did get the engine to turn over 8 years ago. It has added Manual locking front hubs. The engine is stock. As is the pictures look, as they where taken last week. Sold as is. The tow bar, roll bar, rear seat and tow lights included if needed (as is). The tires still have air and the jeep is towable as it is. Tags expired 2012.

I am selling this because I do not have the time to restore another jeep, according to my wife.”

The olive drab Jeep is very original with it’s 24 volt electrical system. Although painted over, you can still see the US Army markings on the hood. Floor pans NOT rusted through and the frame is in great shape.
The orange parts Jeep has been converted to 12 volts. It comes with a gas tank and the original orange hood.
Various other parts are included: Spare wheel, antenna mount, brand new steel tubing frame to hold a canvas top and it’s associated clips, etc.
Both Jeeps have brand new batteries.”
