This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7000.
This M-38A1 is claimed to be a NEKAF. It has some of the features (such as the strap across the battery box), but lacks others such as the turn signals that were unique to the NEKAF. Maybe the jeep includes more information about its origins. There have been several NEKAFs that appeared in US, such as these three in Texas listed back in 2013.
“1960 m38a1 Nekaf. This jeep runs great. Has all original 24 volt system. Newly rebuilt carb distributer and new clutch. Has Antique plates and is registered. Lots of fun and turns lots of heads.”
Sale includes the trailer. The jeep needs work.

“Once in a lifetime sell. Need to get something to fit my growing children. Been in my family for 40 years. 1951 MC 23358(plate inside Jeep) M38 1969 cj5 (frame) 6-cyl. 225cid/155hp 2bbl 225 c.i. V6 (engine) D and K (Canon City,CO) engines rebuilt it. 2019 The color is Black Forest green pearl. Paint code KGZ 2012 Jeep Or CHRYS-PGZ/KGZ Gas tank 87 wrangler Dana rear end Paint will need some work. Cracks from my off-road adventures!”

This might be a GPW rather than an MB. It appears to have the GPW crossmember, but I am not certain.
