This is the final press release from the July 1945 press release kit. Customers could rest assured, according to the release, that the new peace jeep would “embody many comfort facilities” compared to the war-time jeep.
This photo, marked as photo #2, shows a prototype CJ-2 at New Hudson. The jeep has a crated pig in the cargo area. The caption discuses the 4-in-1 nature of the jeep and lists different ways the jeep was expected to be utilized.
This is a photo I hadn’t seen. This photo was taken just before the battle at Chosin Reservoir.

“1949 Willys Jeepster
Another car from my parents collection. They purchased it over 15 years ago from Idaho. Someone did a great job with the later model change over V8 and Auto Transmission, 400 Pontiac Engine. Looks like console and some interior also came from a Pontiac Firebird.
2 wheel drive. We did a minor freshen up restoration including cleaning fuel lines, new brake lines, new battery and new distributor.
No Rust! Convertible Top and Interior are very clean and well taken care of. Starts, Runs and Drives Great.
Really fun convertible car. Prices right. No DISAPPOINTMENTS!”
