1964 CJ-3B Dually Virginia Beach, VA $29,500

UPDATE: Still Available.

(04/17/2020) Nice looking restoration. It has a few cool extras (Hickey winch and ventilating windshield). My only quibble is that I wish the rear dually fenders were rounded rather than angled.

“Complete frame off restoration, Advanced adapters chain clutch, dual master cylinder breaks, PTO, Twin stick, complete original style canvas custom top, original paint color, rate ventilated windshield Everything on this jeep has been redone. 1946? CJ-2A? Bringhurst, IN $4250

• CATEGORIES: CJ-2A, DJ-3A • TAGS: , This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: Price dropped to $4250.

(03/12/2020) This shows that the DJ-3A windshield for the Koenig hardtop also will fit the Meyer CJ-5 hardtop (in this case it’s a CJ-5 half-top). To me this adds weight to my theory that the Koenig hardtop used on DJ-3As should fit CJ-5s. This jeep also has a DJ-3A body (cut side type) and grille, at the very least.

1950 CJ-3A Mableton, GA **Status Unknown**

• CATEGORIES: CJ-3A This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: Status Unknown. Was $5800.

Price dropped to $5800. Year changed to 1950. It lacks drain holes and a tailgate, so either this is an aftermarket body (fiberglass?) or its had work.

Oscar Mayer Wienermobiles

Mark shared this brief look at the Oscar Mayer Wienermobiles over the years (there were several others, including this 2011 wiener food truck). Of course, during the late 1950s, the company built a dog mobile atop an FC chassis. Perhaps, most surprising, is the latest version, one I hadn’t seen (I won’t ruin the surprise).

The first Wienermobile was built in Chicago in 1936 for $5000.
