This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This April 1946 ad from the Playthings Magazine(?) looks like an Al-Toy, though it doesn’t mention Al-Toy or West-Craft. Instead, Joseph Shaw Manufacturers seems to be taking credit for their production.

“This is a 1947-50 ?? Not 100% lol Jeep willies the engine is stamped cj2a . I took it on trade thinking I would have time to play w it but turns out I don’t lol . It’s a running 4spd in great shape call me to set up a time to check it out . I really don’t know a lot about it other than it runs and drives and is in great shape for how old it is”

“I have a 1946 willys jeep with 39.5 iroqs with one trip on them, a sbc 350 mated to a manual 4 speed. It has a 44 front and a 12 bolt in the rear. Runs but needs one or two things buttoned up to send it to the trails. Mainly looking for trades of any sorts but I’m open to offers”
