This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1970s amphibious 6×6. Body is clean with a few scratches, has keys and working headlights, tires are older and may need replaced. Used this a lot when I was younger and I know the original engine needs some minor work. Ie new fuel line and repair on an axel and chain. Willing to listen for partial trades, just ask.”

“1946 Willys CJ2A, great shape for age, runs and drive well, 4 wheel drive works, Chevy 283 V8 conversion with overdrive on standard 3 speed transmission, new bikini top, new tires, new cam, lifters, pushrods, new carb, new leafsprings and shocks, 2 gas tanks, one with new fuel gauge sending unit, 2 tops, full bestop and bikini, spare tire swingout carrier with spare, seats redone 5 years ago with marine foam and upholstery , has one small rip.”

“1953 cj3b. First year for the high hood Jeeps. This is a project. Hood has some dents, and floor pans need patched. Tub has minimal rust, but is in very nice condition for age. You can still see the original green paint under the red. Nice pair of original seat frames. I have two f-head engines for it. The original engine is stuck, and the second engine turns over. Transmission is decent, but should be gone through. Frame is in perfect condition. I do not have a windshield frame, or tailgate for it. Clean title. Would be perfect candidate for restoration. $1500”
