Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Javier rebuilt this nice looking M-38, thanks it part to finding parts through eWillys and readers comments. During the rebuild, he added a few additional safety features such as Herm’s dual reservoir setup. He notes that M-38 does have a few CJ parts on it as well. The unique frame for the winch was something he and a friend built after testing out different scenarios with cardboard. The winch cover is a nice touch, too. Thanks for sharing Javier!

“Fully restored 1948 Willys Jeep for sale. The vehicle is currently in long-term storage and can be viewed upon request. Restored by an experienced classic car enthusiast who also restored two Model As, a Packard, and a REO Flying Cloud. The car was fully operational and regularly driven in holiday parades (i.e., Brunswick and Valley City Fourth of July and Old Fashioned Days Parades) immediately prior to the restorer’s death in December 2017. Has been in covered storage since that time, so may need a minor tune-up.
Being sold by the current owner and titleholder. Title can be transferred immediately upon payment. Purchase must transport from the storage unit.”

“1944 Willys MB Jeep. Have owned since 2001. Approx: in 2010, took to Army Jeep Parts in Bristol for upgrades. New Timing Chain, Radiator and Rebuild of Carburator a few of the upgrades. 4 page invoice included in sale. Runs and drives great but needs to go to a good home for more TLC and to be enjoyed/shown. Since rebuild, approx: driven 5-10 miles a year”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $900.

“I recently acquired a 1966 Jeep trailer. Has minor BATTLE damage in the form of a couple bullet holes. All original military. Never restored or repainted. Has lights and wiring harness and brakes. Pintle attachment. Pulls good. Will have a NEW set of off road tires installed. 16” Military rims. No through rust, just minor surface rust. Perfect Jeep off-road utility trailer.”
Roger Martin spotted this trailer, which looks to be a Ben Hur model. It’s only 40 miles from him. He’s generously offered to pick it up for someone if they are interested.
