This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1959 Willy’s wagon project. New tires, new fuel system (tanks,pump,and lines.) New head liner. Have new replacement glass and gaskets. Mostly installed. New master cylinder. Does run and drive. Carb probably needs to be tuned. Still needs a new wiring harness and some trims pieces and odds and ends.”

“This is a 1945 GPW. Has all original drivetrain except has a Buick 225 oddfire v-6. EVERYTHING works. Lights, gauges, 4×4, brakes, etc….. Ready to go hunting. Flat tows easily. NO RUST!!! Hate to sell but I have to fund other projects. My loss, your gain. Pink in hand. Willing to trade for something of equal value”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9500. Thanks to Stephen for pointing out this is a CJ-3A not an M-38.
Looks in good shape. Missing a few minor parts.

“This is a project vehicle! It is a 1948 Jeep Willys. It was my grandfather’s. I unfortunately dont know much about it but can try to answer any questions you have. I do have a rebuilt motor that he built for it (pictured) but never got it put in the jeep. It has a clean title. As far as I know it is all original as far as parts but looks like its been painted before. Any questions just ask.”

UPDATE **SOLD** Was $2100.

This is 1946 Willy Jeep Project.

It has good tires runs good with a v6 .
Engine duel excuse.
Has newer glass.
No rust.
Tight trans an motor.
No battery but will start.
All running gear strong like new.
Has heater and other parts.

“Stock axles, tranny and transfer case. Previous owner swapped a 225 buick oddfire V6 in it, turns over fine just haven’t had the time to fire it up. I have a new fuel tank to go with it as well as a spare tranny and transfer case and other misc parts. Message me with any questions, thanks”

(07/17/2018) The body looks to be a DJ-3A body. I don’t see anything that suggest this was a 1943 MB/GPW.
“I have a 1943 Willys for sale. It is in excellent condition. It has 20,200 miles on it! I have a second set of black Willys wheels with military tires for it as well. Paint is a year old. I have the doors for it. It has the original drivetrain.(Go devil flathead engine, t90 transmission with Warn overdrive!). I have a tow bar for it, so it can be pulled behind a truck or r.v. This is the 18th and most favorite Jeep I’ve owned. I don’t have to sell, but I’m moving in a couple of weeks, so the cash would be helpful in the coming months. This jeep will not disappoint you! I will consider reasonable offers, but please don’t lowball me”
