Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. As militarized CJ-2As go, this looks pretty good.
“1941 Willys Jeep MB clone. Titled as a 48 with a early 46 frame and running gear. All new sheet metal, tires, brakes, top, MB parts and more. Rebuilt transmission and transfer case. Manual. New Saturn over drive ($1100.00). 12 volt electrical system with period correct wiring harness. Show quality/1st place show winner at local car show recently $10,000 NO TRADES”
UPDATE: Was listed at $28,000.
“1963 FC 170 Willys Jeep Pickup Title still in original owners name. Original paint, seats, Glass, best example of FC 170 I have every seen. FC was under coated when bought new. Winch was installed by dealer when new. Snow plow was installed at dealer when new. All parts are on the truck. Have open title, all paper work and original owners manual and warranty contract.”

“1948 Willys CJ2A Jeep Barn Find (Sorry, I had the year wrong on the previous posting.) No title-to be sold on Bill of Sale for restoration or parts. Cannot verify but was told that the engine had been rebuilt?? Needs a lot to be driven again, but could make someone a challenging project.”

“Purchased last year to be restored but just don’t have the time. New starter installed. Original color was green but has been painted blue. Does have aftermarket power steering. Tires fairly good shape. Has tow bar installed. Has original doors but needs to be refurnished. Does turn over but fuel system and ignition needs to be redone. Serious inquiries only.”

“I’m selling 5-15″ 5 hole freashly powder coated Willys/Jeep rims. These rims were sandblasted then powder coated red. No tires have been mounted on them since being powder coated.
