“This 1963 Jeep Forward Control 170 (FC-170) was recently acquired by the Kentucky-based selling dealer from its previous owner in Georgia. Power comes from a 226ci Super Hurricane inline-six paired to a 3-speed manual gearbox. The vehicle had been used as a daily driver, and the prior owner installed locking hubs, a new exhaust system, auxiliary gauges, new tail lights, a new fuel tank, carburetor, air cleaner assembly, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, and much more as detailed below. Three months ago, the seller also fitted new period-correct wheels and new tires, re-wired the headlights, and added a new fuel pump, spark plugs, coil, and distributor.
