These are pretty.
“Your reply will include your first name, general location and your phone number or you will not hear from me…
I have one almost new set of four US Mag Indy polished aluminum slots. These are 15″ x 9″, 4 1/2″ back spacing, 5 on 5 1/2″ bolt pattern. Should fit early Ford bronco, early Ford trucks, Scout, Willys, Jeep and others…buyer needs to make sure that these will fit their vehicle before you buy…
I bought these, had them mounted and then changed plans, and had them dis-mounted. they have never been run. They have minor imperfections from mount / dismount and kicking around my garage but are close to new.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $600.
Might make good racing tubs.
“I HAVE A 1962 WILLYS CJ3B JEEP TUB. THE COMPLETE FRONT FLOORS AND ALL THE HAT CHANNEL UNDER THE FRONT SECTION HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH ALL NEW METAL. THE REAR FLOOR PANEL HAS BEEN REPAIRED WITH FIBERGLASS AT SOME POINT AND COULD BE USED AS IS BUT I HAD PLANNED ON REPLACING IT. THE RISER PANEL FROM THE FRONT FLOOR TO THE REAR FLOOR THAT RUNS UNDER THE SEATS HAS BEEN CUT OUT AND NEEDS FABBED UP. I HAVE ACQUIRED ANOTHER CJ3B TUB THAT I WAS GOING TO USE AS PARTS TO REPAIR THE RED TUB. YOU WILL GET BOTH CJ3B BARE TUBS WITH THE TITLE FOR THE RED 1962 TUB. THESE ARE BOTH ORIGINAL WILLYS STEEL BODIES THAT HAVE HAD REPAIRS TO THEM OVER THE YEARS.
$600.00 WITH 1962 TITLE.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $200.
This looks to be a good price on a complete DJ-3A axle setup.
“Front axle out of a 58 willys 2wd dj3. This is a direct bolt in for cj2 and cj3 jeeps if you are wanting to convert your jeep to 2wd. Easy way to buld a lsx sleeper jeep. Also have a full set of wheels for it. Prefer texts. If you are texting from an area code other than 316 add willys to your reply.”
These photos appeared in the 2008 book HEMET, part of which was scanned into Google Books. In this case, the captions suggest that these were photos of the first cavalcade (listed in the caption as ’48, but ’49 according to a long-time club member),
To me it looks as if there’s at least two M-38A1s, but I can’t confirm that with this lo-res image. The year credited is 1954.

The caption on the photo below suggests this was taken in 1948, but the CJ-3A shown at the front places the next two photos later than that. In fact, the CJ-3A pictured appears also appears in the 1949 photos from Life Magazine. So, these were most likely taken in April of 1949.

An M-38A1 (or CJ-5) can be seen in the background, suggesting this is at least 1952 or later.
Works been done and a little more needs doing.
