“green body, in need of great repair. Possibly will take offer within the asking price. Jeep needs to literally be rebuilt to some degree. I listed it rebuilt meaning the buyer would have to assume some of that responsibility. Thanks”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $400.
Seller claims this is a Meyers half-top in the title of the ad. There were both Meyer and Meyers hardtops made. Meyer is the better known hardtop seller. The only documented evidence of a Meyers top is on CJ-3B Page (at bottom of this page). It looks similar, but not quite like, a Sears aluminum half top. The doors are different, as the Sears top has curves, where the Meyers has angles. The Meyers door also has a bend near the bottom that Sears does not. Based on the pics, I believe this to be a Sears hardtop rather than a Meyers (and it does not look like a Meyer, in case that’s what the seller meant).
“I have a very nice 1/2 top for an early cj5. This top has the rounded corner for that vintage look. This has a little surface rust but has no rot. This is not all banged up and would be an easy install. I have both door that have a slide up and down window. One window is plexi glass. Use it like it is for that old look or restore. This is complete with working latches. The panel that goes from the top to the floor is missing. This is a simple fabrication that I can help with.
I bought this to put on my Willys cj3b with different doors. It is too nice too cut it up to make it fit so I went a different route.
I have been working on these old jeeps since 1983 so I know what it is and how hard they are to find in this condition. I do not want to waste anyone’s time so please ask questions. I will send any more specific photos you wish. Asking $400. Save your low offers please.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1100.

(06/05/2017) Craig spotted this plow jeep with a unique color scheme. Look slick there’s value.
“1964 Willys Jeep with 6 ft snow, 4 cyl, hardtop with wind up windows, fully functional plow goes up and down (no power angle), starts right up, brakes work, lights work, etc.
This is a good Jeep for plowing your lot, drive, or whatever. Currently not licensed or inspected, do not know what it would take for inspection. The hardtop and plow are worth more than half the asking price. Body has been patched and was painted Red, White and Blue. Very patriotic but not very pretty. This is no SHOW JEEP, it runs good and stops good and will make a good plow Jeep.
NO WARRANTIES, HISTORY, OR PROMISES, SOLD AS-IS, WHERE-IS. Please don’t call with low ball offers. If you’re really interested, make an appointment, come look, bring CASH and we’ll talk. I will NOT talk price with anyone over the phone with out you having seen the Jeep.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(02/16/2017) Some value here.
“Runs, drives. Clean title. Call for more details.”
UPDATE: This same photo with a different caption was sold back in 2014 (see bottom pics).

Someone needs to pull that antique car dealer’s license if he appraised this at $15,000.
“1947 Willy’s Jeep – CJ 2A
Appraised by a licensed antique car dealer at $15,000. The vehicle graded out during the appraisal as follows:
BODY – Straight – well preserved
PAINT – Hand painted – Pure classic to Jeep spirit
CHROME – Good though not a lot
TIRES/WHEELS – original wheels, summer tires – very good
GLASS/TRUNK/TOP – The top is Colorado classic! Small crack in windshield
SEATS – Reupholstered original seats
INTERIOR/PANELS/CARPET – Very good original, new gas tank
UNDERCARRIAGE – Some seal seepage but they do that. Very good throughout
ENGINE COMPARTMENT – Restored, runs great
ORIGINAL/CUSTOM – Very original throughout
TOTAL POINTS AS GRADED – 90 points
Runs, drives and stops well. Odometer reads 4,908 miles, although the total miles on the Jeep are unknown, the engine has very few miles since the rebuild. Ready for the next owner to enjoy as is or perfect for restoration project. Located in Western Colorado.”
