Someone needs to pull that antique car dealer’s license if he appraised this at $15,000.
“1947 Willy’s Jeep – CJ 2A
Appraised by a licensed antique car dealer at $15,000. The vehicle graded out during the appraisal as follows:
BODY – Straight – well preserved
PAINT – Hand painted – Pure classic to Jeep spirit
CHROME – Good though not a lot
TIRES/WHEELS – original wheels, summer tires – very good
GLASS/TRUNK/TOP – The top is Colorado classic! Small crack in windshield
SEATS – Reupholstered original seats
INTERIOR/PANELS/CARPET – Very good original, new gas tank
UNDERCARRIAGE – Some seal seepage but they do that. Very good throughout
ENGINE COMPARTMENT – Restored, runs great
ORIGINAL/CUSTOM – Very original throughout
TOTAL POINTS AS GRADED – 90 points
Runs, drives and stops well. Odometer reads 4,908 miles, although the total miles on the Jeep are unknown, the engine has very few miles since the rebuild. Ready for the next owner to enjoy as is or perfect for restoration project. Located in Western Colorado.”
Looks in good shape.
“1950 CJ3A. Runs great. All original body, mostly original mechanical. L-134 Go Devil engine. Original engine cracked, but saved in the event buyer wants it.

Overdrive installed.”

Does not run, sold as-is
Complete except missing title and one small piece of sheet metal on the dash
All glass is good except crack on lower windshield (all flat glass, so easily replaced)”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $500.
Jim shared this ad. The Meyer hardtop looks worth $500 by itself.
“65 cj with metal top, no motor, pretty good condition given the year. Would be a nice project. 500$ or best offer cash in hand gets it. Would have loved to have made it mine but moving can’t take with. Has solid roll cage as well. A true anitique but still in good shape, was a mail carrier.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3600.
There’s a sale pending on this one. What’s on the passenger floor? Is that a heater?
“Here is a good running vintage Jeep. 4 cylinder engine has been recently rebuilt. Good military style tires. Like new soft top and doors. Good strong winch. $3600 obo.”
