This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The King of Greece and his family in a WWII jeep.
“1948 Press Photo King Paul and Family Stroll Around Tatoi with American Jeep. This is an original press photo. King Paul of Greece takes his family for a ride in their American made jeep during a relaxing moment at their country home at Tatoi in the Hills near Athens. In the front seat with him is Queen Frederika and in the back are their three children. Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated 10-16-1948.”

(03/08/2017) Runs, but needs some work.
“Here’s a nice, 2 owner Willys barn find! 1959 Willys CJ3B. Looks to be original miles! Has had a minimal amount of body work done in it’s lifetime, and has obviously been repainted, but appears to be the original color. The tub and frame are in excellent condition. Starts and runs okay, but needs some TLC. The drive train is a little noisy too. Has the factory heater/defroster. Windshield is broken, as is the driver’s door window. Top easily removes with two people (looks much better without the top in my opinion). I have the old-school Illinois title, which was issued in 1976 when the previous owner bought it from the original purchaser. Come make me an offer!”

“For sale or trade willys jeep. This jeep has a brand new 1942 style body with a 1947 CJ2A chassis and running gears. Completely restored too many parts to name. The motor had $1000.00 of machine work. Transmission re-built, transfer case rebuilt. New tires new gas tank. New wiring. New shocks. New universal joints. New exhaust system. New carbuerator, all new brakes just to name a few items. Bill of sale only.

Sold as is. This is a 70+ year old vehicle . Don’t have to sell so if your not interested don’t call. Thanks. 1942. 4 cylinder. 4wd. Winch. Back seat extra new carborator. Clean and looks good. A great classic for the price.”
