I am a professional mechanic and have owned and serviced vintage jeeps since 1965, when I got my first Cj2a. I have been bombing around my property and the neighborhood for a week and fixing everything that comes up. Now it is road or trail ready. I have 2 other vintage jeeps already so I will sell this one. I have a truck and trailer and can deliver it for you at low cost as I am about 100 miles from Colorado Springs. Email me, Fred, to give me a phone number and set up a time to come see it, or ask questions. I will call or text. Or we can email through craigslist, but if you are serious, we should probably talk.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2400.
Cool trailer with some practical extras.
“I built this Willy’s truck bed trailer for my business as a multi-purpose trailer. I hate to see it go, but my business has outgrown her. It has the rare 8′ thriftside (step side) bed, painted white, sitting on the truck frame. There’s a trailer axle underneath it and the lug nut pattern is 5″ on 5.5″ just like the classic jeep pattern. It has new shocks as well- stock hubcaps included (even the spare tire in the factory location). The WO stamped tailgate is virtually flawless and a rare find, especially in this condition.
To top it off (pun intended), I have a vintage 1958 Canopy – camper shell mated to it. It was made by a local Spokane-based carriage company that went out of business in the late 1980’s (see pic of name plate for reference). It is also painted white, but with silver accents. Then I added a lumber rack for hauling 2×4’s, sheet metal and other materials (12′ overall length, 4’3” wide inside edge to inside edge so there’s plenty of room).
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $12,900.
Looks nice!
“A true classic, not many around. This Jeepster has a Bimini top and a soft top. I have the original hardtop which is in poor condition due to being stored outside for a long time. New tires and very nice interior.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.

“1952 Jeep Military M38 motor was rebuilt by professional rebuilder. This jeep has all it parts but need restoration, has not run in while. I’m asking 4,300 as is where it is. the drive tran is complete and was working when parked. this is great restoration project I don’t have the time”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $12,500.
Interesting build.
“Hello this Willys came out of a private collection in Palm Springs. It has been restored with many up grades Vortex V6, speed Trans. Overdrive, power steering and larger brake drums. From the pictures you came see the condition of it. Has all new brake lines, fuel tank, gages rewired, turn signals with E. Flasher, it has plug for towing. The top does fold down and has a cover for top. The seats backs have been moved back about 4″ which makes it easy to get in and out. The paint work is sharp. There has been alot of detail done. The steering components look new. It does have a 2” receiver on front and rear bumpers nicely done. There is two lugs on front bumper for a tow bar tobe mounted but. I have no tow bar for Jeep. This is not a project, it runs and drives. Stops straight and you don’t have to stand on peddle. It does have locking hubs and 2 speed transfer case. Thank you
Additional info: BODY OF RESTORATION. POWERED BY CHEVORLET 4.3L VORTEX V6 DYNO AT 261HP. 4 SPEED SIGINAW TRANSMISSION WITH DANA T18 TRANSFER CASE WITH WARN OVERDRIVE.
I PURCHASED AS IT IS… I DID NOT DO ANY OF THE WORK.
Two different years are listed in the ad. I can’t tell if it is a Veep, Veepster or a Scamp.

“Full custom, ground up build with new store bought high-end parts! It is registered and in my name as a 47 Jeep even though the whole thing was built new just a few years ago. There has been absolutely no expensed spared in this Jeep. Body is a very well built and thick fiberglass body, never to worry about rust issues again, ever and it has no cracks anywhere, it is so thick that even the hood close with a thump! The frame is a late model Jeep frame, boxed and reinforced throughout.
Engine is a 350 Chevrolet 4 bolt main, steel crank, forged pistons, decked, lined bored and balanced. Cylinder heads have been completely gone through including larger valves, springs, retainers, studs and roller rockers. Quiet Gear drive, with a mild street cam for long hours of idling. Aluminum radiator with temp controlled electric fan, never gets hot even after running all day. Electronic ignition, hooker headers, chrome or aluminum everything possible on the engine. Transmission is a professionally built power-glide automatic with a manual shift valve body, aftermarket transmission cooler and heavy duty torque convertor, this transmission is bullet proof. Drive shafts are new with heavy duty u-joints and retainers.

Front and Rear differentials have I believe 4:11 gears, been too long and cannot remember, disk brakes in front with Warn hubs and large drums in the rear. Wilwood master cylinders with steel braid throughout. The chassis has an aftermarket front sway bar that is easily disconnected for trail riding and full oscillation. Power steering with remote reservoir make the huge Mickey Thompsons turn easily. The suspension springs are, medium duty in the front and I have two sets for the rear, both included. At the moment I have extra firm springs in the rear for dune driving, in an hour they can be replaced with the extra soft springs for trail riding. Dual shocks (Chrome) in the rear and single (Chrome) in the front. Steering linkage (Chrome) is very tight with absolutely no play at all, this Jeep drives very well and tight going down the road.
