Glenn spotted this unusual Puegot, at least unusual in America. It doesn’t look quite as nice as the one on Wikipedia. Some of the black trim may have been painted on white on this vehicle.

Mechanically perfect with approximately 14,000 miles (22,626 kilometers). It is essentially a Mercedes G-wagon with a Peugeot 505 diesel motor and 4 speed transmission.”

UPDATE: **SOLD**
Needs some finishing up on the outside, but the interior looks good.
“Very good condition, been in storage for 30 years, was going to street rod, I’m never going to get to it, time to let someone else finish. No motor or trans, has 8″ ford rearend installed, great original interior, original paint on the dash, paint stripped from exterior. Only had 43,129 miles on it when sold the original motor and trans.”

“Selling one of my projects because I lost interest and ran out of money. Lots of parts have been replaced. (different head, fuel pump, different starter, gas tank and fuel lines, plugs wires distributer cap points and condenser etc. ) Comes with the original hard top and doors and all the spare parts that are with it. Open to trades but cash is king! Bill of sale included (I never had a title)”

Tom shared this video he assembled. It captures a memorial project he and his son completed recently, a remembrance of nine airmen who were killed in a B-52 crash. Part of their effort required the use of Tom’s CJ-3A.

Paul bought this FJ-3 back in 2014. He’s restored it beautiful. He wrote: “Her new home is in Orange County, California. This FJ3 is now a daily driver and is used both in my business, and as a fun vehicle to take to shows and cruises. It is looking a little different now. It is still running the original engine and transmission. The rear end is now a freshly rebuilt Dana 44 with taller gears so it can do a decent highway. On the exterior, all the rusty metal has been replaced and the rear side windows have been removed. The rear door is still a wood roll-up, but it is now clad with aluminum sheet to make it maintenance free.”
