For some reason the seller is listing this as a 1947 CJ-2A. Maybe it has a repro body?

1961 CJ-5 Sutter Creek, CA $2750

• CATEGORIES: CJ5 This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

Runs and drives. Looks solid, too.

Here is a pretty good shape, straight body jeep. It has a 4 cylinder engine that runs, 3 speed transmission and model 18 transfer case. the huge winch on the front is a PTO style. It has a back seat, nice tail gate, roll bar, and a very rare dual fuel tank set up under the front seats. How many of those have you seen? This has clean title and is registered until January of 2017.”

“I am selling my CJ2 A project Jeep. This Jeep came from California and is all original. I tore it down and started restoration. It has a Buick 212 V6 that was installed at a dealer in ’62. I had the engine professionally rebuilt from crank to carb. This engine is bored out to a 223 with all new parts. I have put new leaf springs, brake lines, and painted the frame. I have everything to put it back together but the time. I have a spare front axle. This jeep has the original exterior screen for the radiator and the original winch. Tub is totally rust free including the tool box under the passenger seat.”

Can Anyone Identify These Parts?

• CATEGORIES: Features This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

Tracy believes these parts were from a 1920s Willys vehicle, but isn’t sure. She’s hoping to get them to someone who could use them. She’s tried contacting the Willys Knight Registry, but so far hasn’t gotten any response.
