(06/05/2015) Does it run? No description provided.
Roy Wililams shared some photos of his jeeps. The first two photos show the lightweight bobcat body Fred Weis built for Roy, the first lightweight racing Bobcat body Fred made.
Here’s a look at Roy and his racer. Great photo!:
This photo of Roy racing his jeep I found in a 1976 Sunfair booklet. The Sunfair was a 300 mile race near Yakima, Washington, that was first held in 1975. In 1976, Drivers met on Saturday, September 11, at 9am for tech inspection. At 10pm the drivers gathered to parade through downtown Yakima on their way to the course. Racing started at noon. Racers drove either 10 or 12 laps depending on their class. Based on the map below, it appears each lap was 23 miles.

Among the racers here is Don Bray. Roy and the Brays raced a few times over the years. Don’s son Ed shared these photos.
This is a CJ-3B Roy used to own:
Roy recently purchased this CJ-5. I’m looking forward to seeing it and meeting Roy in person!
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6500.
(06/17/2019) This militarized CJ-2A might be worth a look. It appear solid.

(11/07/2015) Nice looking early CJ-5.
“1958 CJ-5, very good mostly original condition. F-134 motor runs excellent, mechanically sound. Solid body with steel Koenig half cab (I do have the doors, just took them off for the summer). 60/40 bench seat. Serious inquiries only. Thanks for looking.”

Looks road ready.
“1959 Willys truck 4×4, with overdrive, new tires, 289 Ford v8. ”
Has some updates along with a fiberglass tub.
“Thinking of selling.
Rare CJ6 in great condition. Soft top and bikini top. In line 6. Runs great and. Always garage kept and only used to drive around town. I don’t take her off road but I’m sure someone before me has😉 . Fiber glass tub that is ready for new paint or just left as is. 33″ mud tires with a spare set of brand new BFGoodrich all-terrain 33 inch snow tires. With rims.”
Unusual rear cargo setup.
“This is an all original stock civilian Jeep except for the electric fuel pump that has been installed.
All lights, instruments, horn works. Engine is very strong, does not burn oil. Runs rough while warming up but smooths out in five minutes. It has a small oil leak on the engine rear seal.
The only things that don’t work are the emergency brake and the drivers side vacuume driven windshield wiper because it was run off the original fuel / vacuume pump. Original fuel pump is still on the engine but needs to be replaced.
It has three fuel tanks, two under the seats and one in the rear.
It drives great and is a lot of fun with two speed transfer case to crawl around in low range.
Odometer says 11,000 miles but is probably 111,000.
Someone took good care of this Jeep. It was stored inside a shop when I bought it.
You can get historic licence plates for a one time fee of $10 that never need to be renewed.
Call or email if you have any questions.”
Maybe some value here?
“I have a lot of stuff that needs to go. Including bar lights n signs, a nestle hot cocoa machine like brand new,a smaller but not mini fridge with racing and riding stickers on it, tacky yet cool for a man cave or garage, car audio system, tools, even a 43 Willy’s jeep I’ll put up the pics I have if your interested in more call or text me anytime I can send more pics thru text and/or have you come take a look at every thing for sale. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
Not running at the moment.
“1951 Jeep Willys, purchased by my father three years ago. It was running just over two years ago before he passed, and has been sitting since. As far as I know, it’s not running now (although I wouldn’t know how to get it running anyway). It was a project in process.
We know nothing about it other than what we paid for it, and what it was worth to him. He was a jeeping enthusiast who belonged to many local 4wd clubs, and would not have wanted it if it were junk. His intent was to refurbish it and use it as a mild wheeler and for special interest meets. As I said, he was driving it just over two years ago. If you’re a SERIOUS enthusiast and buyer (as he was), you are welcome to come take a look.
NO TIRE KICKERS. No trades.”
