This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Merlin shared this DJ-5 with an unusual fiberglass replacement body on Facebook. One person thinks the body is a “Bum-Vee” body, but I couldn’t confirm that. Anyone recognize this body? It reminds me of the Parmley body.

UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was on eBay…. This was listed back in 2014.
Glenn shared this one. It doesn’t seem to have any ‘WILLYS’ or ‘JEEP’ stampings anywhere, suggesting it could be military, but it also could have produced following the decision to stop jeeps with “WILLYS” on them. It does have a ventilating windshield, along with a Koenig hardtop.

Runs great, needs nothing. Small rust in passenger side floor and crack in windshield. Low milaeage, very rare model, most were made for export.”
