“1948 Willys CJ-2A with a 1944 MBs body retrofit but with vintage parts such as grill, glovebox, lights, wind shield, seats, etc.
Very close as a complete MB clone. Has new top, straps, and seats. Many parts have been replaced including wiring and alternator to a 12v system, cables, gauges, shocks, and muffler. Includes tow bar. Engine runs fine with good compression psi: 135,120, 125, 130. Transmission has a new clutch.
I recently bought this Jeep from my uncle with title and Collector plate. He used in mostly to ride in
parades and show it at car shows with a military auto club. It has now been completely mechanically inspected and is in the process of professional auto work and I decided to start a restoration at my home under cover. Car is available to see while work is being completed.
Vin plate is missing so I have a special appointment set up with the State Patrol to have a reassigned vin number added to car frame and body. I will support with attendance if you want to conduct the inspection with State Patrol.
Car need three tires (one tire is new).
Several thousand dollars spend recently on new parts:
Replacing all new brakes lines and master cylinder, (new wheel cylinders are in place now)
Replacing front hub seals and all axles seals,
Replacing new emergency brake pads and rotational seals transfer case seals,
Replacing clutch and brake pedals and clutch and brake rotational shafts and brake arm.
Fuel line is new and replacing fuel gauge.
Replacing front axle bearings.
Replacing steering shaft and sleeve plus rebuilding steering box.
Bought 2 gallons of Army correct paint but do not have time to paint.
A few places have rust so I bought replacement panels and in process of replacing (but probably will not finish soon).
I do not need help selling or in a hurry. Selling for what I invested so far minus my time. Cash only and no trades. I plan to keep the Jeep if close to price is not met and continue restoration in the spring. Mechanical works should be completed soon.
I do not have time to finish the complete project thus reason for sale. Price reduction can be negotiated if you want the car as is and finish the work. Price listed is with most of stated work to be completed.
I will not reply to emails or texts, please call only. Please serious calls only and no low balls or scammers!”
UPDATE: Now priced at $12,500.
(04/25/2022) This nice looking 3B drag jeep looks like a fun ride.

Chris is selling this rare former airport baggage conveyer DJ-5 that at one time was operated by Piedmont Airlines.

“1972 Jeep DJ5B. Folks meet Piedmont. He’s a very rare DJ5B that was used by Piedmont Airlines as a luggage loader. This model is rear 2WD with a 232 six cylinder that is currently not running. Motor does turn over at the crank so it is not seized. This is a rare piece of history that I recently saved from the scrap yard. Notice the slant on the passenger side as this was manufactured at the plant in Toledo to house the loader mechanism. Very original rig that I feel needs to be restored back to his original glory. I’ve personally been a many Willys, Kaiser, AMC and likes for many years and this model is new to me.
This is a matching numbers Jeep as well with a clean NC title. The mileage on the rig is unknown but the title shows 2054 and the speedometer is showing 20..Mechanically he will require some attention. You can see the obvious rust but the frame is in good condition with no serious spots. Tub will need to be repaired. No radiator in place. Transmission is in pieces. One of the main shafts is cracked and the entire transmission needs to be reassembled. 3 speed T85 unit. Temporarily the main transmission mount is secured by two bolts only for transport. Does include many transmission parts and pieces but I am unsure if everything is there. Tires are only rollers and what came with him but he does roll nicely. Front passenger brake components are missing but would need all new brakes regardless. Folks he’s not ready for the road yet but man would he not be a show stopper?”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7500.
Seller notes there is some body rust, but the jeep shows well in the pics.
“1957 Willys CJ-3B. Runs great, motor rebuilt around 2012. Many new cosmetic improvements: new seat foam and canvass, repainted transmission cover, new shifter boots, new paint-in bedliner, new seatbelts. Transmission and transfer case were recently gone through and work great. The frame is solid. Runs and rides great.
The body looks good, but there is rust. If you are looking for a restoration project, plan on doing body work. Someone has used body filler and painted this Jeep. It looks good, just know that the body is not solid metal.
This would be a great Jeep for a restoration project or to enjoy as is. It certainly catches people’s attention.
The true mileage is unknown. Odometer shows about 13,000 miles, but it’s probably more like 113,000.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5000.
Might be a good price.
“All bone stock runs great Except its 12volt Price is firm”
