It’s not all original, but appears solid.

“1945 Willys Jeep CJ2A for sale. Hate to lose her but Im moving overseas. She is #10170 which you can research and see as the #170th CJ2A made after WWII. I rebuilt the transmission and the motor is great. Like all CJ2As this old there is a slight drip from the transmission housing. She has been up and running great for the past 2 years, I however have not been in El Paso for the past 6 months so the battery is dead and the fuel pump will need to be primed to get running again. After extensive research, there are a few parts that are not original, windshield is from a 1948, electrical is converted to 12V from 6V and the rear axle was upgraded to the 1948 model. This is an amazing find, and I don’t want to see her go- email or text with questions.”

(12/01/2014) This has a VEC CJ-2A body, but I don’t see other VEC parts.

(08/05/2014) This may be a 1946 VEC. In fact, those look like square bow holder bolts on the windshield.

“I have a barn find jeep willis cj2a 4×4 with original title # 19765 (Arkansas), it’s all there, it has been converted to 12 volt system already, I was told it will run, just like most barn finds this one needs the fuel system flush and carburetor clean up, also will need starter rebuild, and good tires. The price of this barn find is $2500 as is (firm), but I will consider partial trades (no guns), I am looking for a lift up Cherokee or bronco, or ???,”
