UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2800.

This may be worth a look.

“957 Willys Jeep CJ3B. Runs and drives well. New wheel cylinders, master cylinder and flex brake lines. New fuel tank and rebuilt carburetor. Very little rust, the worst being the rear floor due to having a mat in it for years but it’s still very usable as is. Now it’s far from perfect but it functions like a Jeep should. With a new set of tires it will be a great Jeep. Price is $2800 so the first one with $2800 will take it away. No text. No trades. No help to sell it.”

Last of the 5 guage 3bs. 57 was the year the large single cluster was added. Original presidential red paint with the stencil although it has been touched up. Tail lights aren’t original but not a big deal. Best thing is that the jeep has the tilt out windshield frame which are very hard to find on a 3b. Little bit of rust but definitely a good candidate for restoration

    Minnesota Chris,
I ended up buying this very Jeep the other day and came across your ad here. Was wondering if you had any history on the Jeep?
BTW, I am I San Diego as well!

That’s cool Ed. How’d it look in person? Are you planning to enjoy as is or restore? Let me know if you need any parts.

I’m going to keep it just the way it is. I’m looking for a 6 V starter. Would you happen to have one? I am giving it to my wife for Xmas. She will love it!

I ended up buying it from a guy up in Upland, CA and trailering it back to San Diego. It looks very good. Lots of good patina! He put period correct tires on it. The bendix went out on the starter so he put a 12v starter in it and disconnected all other electrical, so I would like to put back a 6v starter and get the electrical back in shape. It runs really well.
I would love to hear any history you might have on it. I took it to the Silent Car Show in Rancho this morning and it got swarmed! It is in hiding until Xmas now.
