1. This website is dedicated to pre-1980s Jeeps &/or Willys, though it mostly focuses on flat-fenders (MBs, GPWs, CJ-2As, CJ-3As, CJ-3Bs, M-38s, DJ-3as). If you want to post something (your build, your jeep or sale, etc), you will need to contact me.
2. Most of the content on this site relates to flatties that ARE or WERE for sale on craigslist and ebay. My interest here is to help people buy & sell Jeeps & parts; to educate about 'old school' modifications and available parts; to make connections with other Willys Enthusiasts; and to entertain.
Quinn sent me some pics and information about his very nice M-38 build. Thanks for sharing!
A Buick V-6 225 bored 30 over powers this 1950 M-38 and is fed by an Edelbrock 500 cfm carb. The drive train includes a T-90, Dana 18 and Warn Overdrive. The front (Dana 25 or 27) and rear Dana 44 are slowed down with 11″ x 2″ drums possibly from a Willys wagon or truck.

If you have the same problem, it’s a good solution. He also had his guy tuck the corners of a CJ-5 bikini top to fit nicely. Good ideas and thanks for sharing!
