New to eWillys? Here is a very brief synopsis of this website: You can Contact Me with questions, comments or concerns. The image to the right is of my Jeep - Lost Biscuit. Learn more about eWillys, about Me or read the FAQs.

1. This website is dedicated to pre-1980s Jeeps &/or Willys, though it mostly focuses on flat-fenders (MBs, GPWs, CJ-2As, CJ-3As, CJ-3Bs, M-38s, DJ-3as). If you want to post something (your build, your jeep or sale, etc), you will need to contact me.

2. Most of the content on this site relates to flatties that ARE or WERE for sale on craigslist and ebay. My interest here is to help people buy & sell Jeeps & parts; to educate about 'old school' modifications and available parts; to make connections with other Willys Enthusiasts; and to entertain.

UPDATE:  Still Available

For sale, the SS Dutch. Finding this jeep and trailer for sale was a real treat.  First of all, Mike has created a well documented build of both the trailer and the jeep.  Second, the changes and thought processes have been documented on two separate blogs (see post below), so there’s plenty to review.  Third, he’s got the best site I have run across related to CJ-6s.

Mike writes on a recent post, “It’s not without a bit of sadness and trepidation that I post this.  After 6 years of ownership and a whole lot of blood, sweat and gears I’ve arrived at the decision to put both SSDutch—a 1964 CJ6—and my 1950 Bantam Jeep trailer up for sale.

Mostly this is due to our recent decision to go on the road for a year but I’ve also noticed that I’ve had a lack of interest in working on it for some time now.  In preparing for our trip the idea of just having the Jeep, trailer, and related piles of parts gone is more peace-inducing than the notion of having to arrange storage for all of it.

I’m pretty sure I’m not done with Jeep ownership.  If we choose the motorhome & toad approach to living on the road I’ll be looking into either a Jeep Cherokee (XJ) or Grand Cherokee (WJ). Otherwise I’ll look into a new project once we’re back off the road – I never did get the chance to finish the ‘58 Willys Wagon I had and have always wanted another one. ”
