These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Here is Japanese Jeep that was built under license from Kaiser Jeep Corp. This was originally used by the Japanese Military. This is a 1973 Jeep with 44K miles. Very nice condition inside and out. Just shipped from Japan last month Just neat clean fun. Be the first in your neighborhood. Very similar US Jeep from the 50’s & 60’s. This has a 4 cylinder over head valve Mitsubishi engine. Starts easily and runs well.”

Manufactured for the Japanese market under license from Jeep USA. 4 cylinder gas engine with 4-speed manual transmission. All original, runs and drives great. Has winch and towbar. Clean CA title, no back fees, no smog needed. Asking $9500 no trades. Located in Upland, CA.”
“Willys Jeep CJ3B by Mitsubishi. Rare jeep as very few Willys by Mitsubishi were brought to the USA. The irony of this should not be lost on anyone. We bombed them and they licensed this legendary Jeep afterwards. 4 cylinder factory engine rebuilt by Napa Auto in Orland. Has less than 20 miles on it. New clutch, water pump, exhaust, etc. Many new parts. Runs and drives very good. In very good condition.”
This is likely a J4 or J4C. It has a few changes, including an odd windshield modification and a WILLYS plate that appears added to the hood.
“I am selling my project jeep. Its a 1959 Willys cj3B/M606. It is an export jeep to Japan, assembled under contract by Mitsubishi and was later imported back into the US in 1981 ( I have most all of the original paperwork / has an oregon title and plates ). It is very clean, but needs finishing. Motor is rebuilt, new clutch, all fluids changed, all new brake lines, new fuel lines, new carb, new cooling system, converted to 12 volt with a 150 amp GM alt. New dual AGM batteries, all new cables, brand new disc brake master cylinder kit with proportioning valve. All new plugs, wires, rotor. New 6 point roll cage, all new stainless steel exhaust, newer seats, original Japanese canvas top, all original lights. Converted the front to a narrow track open knuckle 30 front axle with all new disk brakes, new bearings, seals, rotors, calipers, brand new spicer 5:38 gears in the box and new master install kit.

License built by Mitsubishi. 4 Cylinder diesel from the factory. Built for the Japanese army (and others) from the 1950’s until the late 1990’s.
Restoration project. Has sat for a number of years. Complete and original. Rust in the usual Jeep places (footwell). Frame is straight and solid. Motor currently does not run but turns over. Parts are available from a number of suppliers. Even has the original Japanese NDTs still on it…….
