UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $12,000.

Still some work left on this one.

“I have a 1955 Willys pickup with the 226 six cylinder that I’m getting close to completing and will be selling it. I striped the truck down to the frame and cleaned up all the dirt and grim and painted frame and undercarriage. The motor was completely overhauled all new parts from top to bottom. The rebuild was completed by Forbes Rebuilders in Ft Worth. I have converted the electrical to 12 volts and all wiring has been replaced. The master cylinder, all wheel cylinders and break shoes are new and work well. I have installed a new fuel tank, fuel pump, water pump, radiator and clutch linkage and had the starter and carburetor rebuilt. All the door and window rubber has been replaced. I have the seat replaced with a 2007 Durango 3rd roll seat. The door panels and head liner need restored or replaced. The truck is painted white plan on repainting it when I have everything finished. If you are looking for daiiy driver this is not the truck for you. It’s great for 4 wheeling or exploring the deer lease. The truck is tagged and I have title in hand.
If you do your homework and check the cost of restoring one of these old trucks you will find it is a costly project. Let me know if you have any interest. Truck is in Keller Tx.”

UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $2500.

It doesn’t run or start, but it’s old life as a government vehicle gives it some nice nostalgia. It does appear to have the gov plate on the passenger side dash.

“For sale is my 1955 Willys 4wd 1-ton pickup. This truck is a former US Government fleet vehicle for the Department of the Interior Bureau of Reclamation (water) in Washington State, and still bears the hand painted badging on the doors and numbering on the cab. I love Jeeps and Willys of all types, and the patina on this truck was my main reason for buying it. At this point I realize that I have too many things going and won’t be able to take on this project. My loss, someone else’s opportunity. Overall the truck is very solid and complete. Fenders and hood are mocked up for some pictures, but are not attached. They AND an extra set of front fenders will be secured in the bed for shipping. The rust on this 60yr old truck is mostly superficial, and the cab is in better shape than any survivor I’ve seen. This truck does not run. The engine was replaced at some point with an inline Chevrolet 6 cylinder which is cracked; junk. A future diesel platform for you? Other than that, the drivetrain appears to be stock but in need of complete refresh along with everything else as it has been sitting for some time; the 1963 Washington plate on the front has a most recent tab of 1974. At some point, someone started in with a can of sky blue paint on part of the truck, but didn’t get far; it can be removed. Rare to find authentic patina like this anymore, and my thought is that the buyer is likely to save a lot of money on bodywork and paint on this vehicle; just clean it up and clearcoat it. I can arrange viewing for serious buyers and I’ll be happy to help load for transport. Please”

Never seen this combo before!

“I am just testing the waters to see whats out there. I have a late 40’s early 50’s Willys tin wagon with a Crosley front nose. This is going to be a cool ride for someone who can finish her. The body is fairly straight but has some rust on the floors. It comes with old street signs that were going to be the floor. I have the willys hood fenders and grill. The crosley front is in great condition and would look cool either on the willys or turn it into a bad ass man cave chair currently its just sitting on the front just for reference. IM asking $800 or trade for??”

1962 Truck Muskegon, MI $3000

Mark listed this at jeep truck.com.

“I have my late Fathers original 1961 Jeep Willys Pickup for sale. My Father bought this brand new in 1961. Its has the Original Super Hurricane Engine, Transmission, Transfer Case with high and low range, and front axle with locking hubs, drive line and rear axle. The pictures show the condition this Jeep is in today while parked in the garage where its stored. The odometer reads 50,999 miles. The odometer cable is broken. I honestly say this Jeep doesn’t have any more than 60,000 miles on it. My Father pulled this Jeep off the road back in the late 1980s and isnt licensed to be driven on the street. While this Jeep has been sitting many years, its has many original usable parts that can greatly enhance a quality restoration. Vehicle is for sale as is. The Original Hurricane flat head 6 cyliner engine was rebulit in 1979. The Engine is in excellent condition and runs great, uses no oil. A new Clutch was also installed. Its in great condition also. My Father added the snow plow equipment right after he purchased the Jeep. Its a Meyers Unit. This Jeep still runs very well. Brakes are not working currently. I believe it needs a New Brake Cylinders, brake lines are decent. This Jeep could be used as a snow plow truck for your driveway, restoration project, or sold as a parts truck for a person restoring a Jeep like this. Many good parts. I have the original title for the Jeep also. Again its been in our family since new, one owner. Tires are very weather checked, need replacing but still hold air. Frame is rusty, my Father had it welded in the bad spots with angle iron.”
