Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The truck is awesome to drive and can stop on a dime. You really wont find another truck that is complete and set up as a rat rod but can drive so easy and smooth like this truck. Here is the long list of features on this Willys.
Body/Chassis:
1950 ½ Truck with original painted doors from Cattle Co., Chopped 6”.
Chevy s10 frame, s10 Xtreme Rear End with 3.42 gears and posi with disc brakes.
Lowered 3” Front and Back. s10 Xtreme front sway bar and end links.
Hitch installed (2000 lbs towing capacity)
Fake and Real Patina throughout. Some pinstriping done.
Original bed with rare tail gate (new stake pockets included with truck)
Willys Wagon rear bumper. Truck front bumper.
Wheel Vintiques wheels and American Classic tires. All in great shape.
4 wheel power disc brakes, power steering and power windows. (brakes are hydroboost unit powered by a Toyota MR2 electric power steering pump on the frame rail.)
Aluminum radiator with electric fan.
Model A tail lights.

Matt’s got this old truck for sale. He’s clearing out some of his jeep collection for a VEC project.
“I have a 1951 Willys pickup truck in need of a new home. The truck is in pretty rough shape. The cab has a lot of rust and part of the frame has weak spot. It does not have a bed or seat however the rest is there. It has a flathead ford V8 that ran not too long ago. It does still have the stock willys transmission and transfer case. It also has a lift and pump setup for a plow but I do not have the blade. It is mostly a parts vehicle or could be restored with a lot of work. I have too many other projects in the works and would rather see someone use it. Bill of sale only. Asking $900 obo. Call/text or email. If the ad is still up, it is still available. Thank you”
