Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Rudy shared this article from the 1951 issue of Travel Trailer Magazine. That’s one big trailer. According to the author, the tongue weight was 1000lbs, but the jeep was only rated for 800lbs. What could possibly go wrong?
Looks solid; not sure why it was militarized.

“1960 willys panel truck. Good ohio title. I think the front sheet metal is 1948 willys. Flip nose with louvers. 350 chevy motor. Good new brakes. Good tires. Can be driven home if u dont live 2 far. Needs some work but not much to be dependable. Has a transmission leak and needs some wiring. Possible trade for street rod or rat rod.”
