“Just testing the waters. 1950 Willys Jeepster 2wd convertible. 1 of approx 5000 built that model year. Unrestored, mostly original. Been in the family since 1952. Suffered storm damage to the hood rear fender and top from falling branches and rain about 20 yrs ago and has been in storage since. Serious restorers only. No trades”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7000.
Looks like a solid parade vehicle.
“I have a wonderful 1948 Willys 80% restored WWII style GPW clone parade jeep named “Southern Belle” with 82nd Airborne markings for auction and for sale locally (listing could end at any time).
I have redone the exterior with body handles, decals, tire carrier, gas can carrier (can included), new windshield glass and handmade windshield cover (stenciled with invasion star), bridge plate, 82nd Airborne license plate, bumperettes, Blackout light, tie down webbing, floor mats all around, manilla rope, new interior seats, 8 ball shifter, new rims and military tires, new hood, body work, and paint. There are still a few dents and scratches here and there to give it some character but is a real head turner. I get great feedback from people everywhere I go in it. I have included some pics of the day I got it and some of the work as it was being done. The parade pic is from this years 4th of July parade locally. Continue reading

Doesn’t run.
“Not sure what year ford military jeep! I know it’s early 40s. Solid tub no tailgate, no rust, missing windshield. Will run and drive, all lights work. Doesn’t have origanal motor but has a hurricane flat six which came in 52 willy’s wagon. Be a good project or ranch rig!”

“This vehicle is a Willys Maverick. It is ranked as a very rare find. This is a,restorable vehicle that is complete. Items that are missing. headliner, one rear interior panel, it has 3 original rims no caps, have 64 chevy straight six not the original Kaiser 6 and not installed, missing side moldings, only has original front seat frame.
The Willys Maverick was originally produced through the sponsorship of the Maverick western comedy tv show. It was produced with a different windshield, one piece instead of two, different side moldings, and a upgraded suspension that was later used in the rebranded 64 jeep wagoneer. This vehicle is described as “very rare”.
This is a very restorable vehicle with quite a story. I hate to part with it , but maybe someone else can find the time to breathe life into this unique vehicle. ”
