“Up for sale is a 1947 CJ2A willys jeep. It’s completely stock as far as can be told and has some extras with it as well. This jeep would make a great restoration project or a parts jeep. It’s about 75% restorable right now. Front floor boards and tool box under passenger seat are rusted out and would need replacing and still has the original seats as well. Hood, fenders, grill, windshield frame and tailgate are in pretty good to great shape as well as the frame which is in top notch condition. The engine is the 134 four cylinder and would need a rebuild but isn’t locked up. Turned it over with a wrench a few times and had it hitting with some ether but it has electrical issues somewhere. All in all its a great jeep for a project and deserves to be out on the road again. Unfortunately I don’t have the time to deal with it due to another willys project I’m working on. So if your interested just email, call or text me any time and leave a message if need be but I will get back to you. I won’t take scrap price on it but it’s all negotiable.”

Maury spotted this one-off CJ-5 backhoe tractor combo. He wrote, “I was helping my brother in law pick up some car parts this past weekend, and ran across this interesting CJ5-based vehicle. It was made by the guy who owned the business that was selling the car parts, and he told me it was a one-off he created years ago in Michigan in the hope of successfully marketing it.
The CJ5 body was bought new from AMC separately, and installed on the heavy steel frame he created for it. He said the resulting vehicle was the only loader-backhoe he knew of that could go 80 m.p.h.!”
As militarized 2As go, this looks to be one of the better ones.

“1946 CJ2a garage kept since we have owned it, 1988. The Jeep has been kept in a storage unit for the past 3 years. Vacuum wipers, 12 volt system, key start though floor starter switch still there, we have the Gerry cans, was re-upholstered and repainted in the 90’s, I put a battery in it and primed the carb she started right up, great Jeep, She’s a beauty, $7500 or BO. I’m in Harrisburg, Jeep is in Leola so we would need to meet there.”
Looks like someone painted over the data tags.
“Own a piece of history! This 1942 Jeep Willy’s MB was the work horse of WW11. Restored to operational condition. Less than 200 miles since freshly overhauled original engine. Runs, drives and looks great!
The engine is also known as a ” Go Devil L-134″ Has a 2 speed transmission. Currently is on NON-OP with clean title and is street legal.”
