Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. That’s a first edition Ramsey Model 101 Crankshaft Driven Winch, looks reasonably complete except for the inside cab control. I’ve been around Jeep winches for 50+ years and have never seen or used one of these before. No idea how you release the tension if it doesn’t get you out of your mud hole.
SOLD, This CJ2A now lives in the Adirondack Mtns. of Northern NY. Hope he keeps in touch.
