UPDATE:  Price dropped to $3900

(11/20/09) Given it’s titled as a 1977, I suspect this is more likely a Veep (VW kit Jeep) rather than a M-38.  It’s a little unclear (perhaps misleading?)  how the seller arrived at the year of 1951 or how the seller calculated the number of these made (12).

“1951 Willys Jeep with custom chassis. VW air cooled powered. Only 12 built that I know of, done very nice. Inspected by the PA department of Transportation and issued a special construction VIN.
